About Beyond the Grave Productions

-------Beyond the Grave Productions is owned and operated by Brian Lashchuk, who specializes in creating highly detailed static zombie props and more for haunted attractions and private collectors.  These handcrafted characters consists of four key elements, all of which come together to produce unique life-size props:

  1. Body forms
------- Each lightweight body has been hand sculpted and cast in urethane foam.  The custom-fabricated joints allow the arms to be posed in various positions at both the shoulders and elbows.  By tightening these joints, they can be locked in any desired position.  The upper body separates from the legs for easier handling, shipping, and storage.  Furthermore, the torso can pivot from side-to-side at the waist, which also allows for different poses.  Finally, the PVC frame can be customized so that the torso leans to one side, forwards, or backwards.  However, this feature is built into the frame and cannot be altered.

  2. Bases:
------- Every prop comes with its own base.  The support structure is hidden within the prop, which gives the illusion that the body is freestanding.  The bases are textured and detailed to give an earth or stone appearance.  Optionally, the base can be substituted with rebar for outdoor use.  Simply drive the rebar into the desired location outside, and slide the legs over the rebar.  The prop will look as if it is actually standing on the ground.
  3. Latex Accessories:
------- All of the latex accessories (i.e. masks, hands, chests, leg pieces, etc.) have been hand sculpted and painted specifically for each prop.  Custom color schemes are available for both paintjobs and hair.  Also, more gore (i.e. bullet wounds or blood) can be added to any character.
  4. Costumes:
------- All of the costumes are highly detailed for each character.  More specifically, no two zombies are alike since real clothing is used.  Costumes are interchangeable for all characters.
